Hi fellow reader, writer, and/or human!

You know those lists of “Stories We Don’t Want” you see sometimes, on the web pages of the places you submit your stories? Yeah… I’ve unironically written a few of those… maybe most of those… Sometimes, you just have to jump in the pool and try to swim.

I also write literary flash, short fiction, and creative non-fiction. Sometimes I write dark speculative fiction, science fiction, and satire while other times I write songs and various lists, ranging from set lists to grocery lists. Oh, and those lists? Yeah, they are lying around in notebooks all over my house.

I love reading the stories I wish I’d written.

Some of my favorite authors include: Angela Liu, Alma Katsu, Jennifer Egan, Ken Liu, Stewart O’Nan, Denis Johnson, Cassandra Khaw, Steven Amsterdam, Cormack McCarthy, Sequoia Nagamatsu, Martin MacInnes, Emily St. John Mandel, Robert Repino, David Mitchell, and loads of others.
